Ally at School...

Ally is loving school these days.  Yesterday, at our PTO meeting I had a chance to talk to her teacher for about ten or fifteen minutes.  What a wonderful conversation we had!  She made me feel so good about my girl.  She said she comes to class each morning with a smile on her face and she is just so happy to be there and to learn.  She said while, yes, she is a social girl... she can tell that Ally works very hard at keeping that in check.  It's so nice to hear that your child is just a "joy to have in the classroom."

In other great, super, amazing news for the Ally-Roo.... she learned to tie her shoes this morning!  She has really been struggling with this.... and yes, it may seem ridiculously late for her to be learning such a task (a case of bad parenting here!)... it was a major accomplishment in this household and we are celebrating!  Go Ally!
