This is SO VERY bad. I can post from work! This is not good for the productivity. At all. This is also going to feed my procrasination habit. Again I say it... this is bad...
With the Mac blog program, I could only post from my Mac itself! So, I had to be home or using my Mac elsewhere. Now, with this program... I can blog from wherever I have internet access! What a wonderful world I've discovered! I can chat endlessly... for hours at a time... drone on and on.... I can even post from my iPhone. WOW!
I have created a monster.
I can feel it.
I'm never going to shut up now.
Trouble... with a capital T and that rhymes with P and that stands for Procrastination. (You know all you Music Man fans are singing along right now... MOM!)
I've received a great deal of positive feedback from those of you that attempted to read my Mac blog that you are exceedingly happy with the change! I'm so happy to have some satisfied customers! And, it's good to know I have devoted readers!
I created a blog originally when my Mom moved to Las Vegas. I thought it would be a GREAT way to let her know what was going on with my life and the lives of her two grandchildren, Luke (8 months) and Allison (5 years). I thought it would be fun to post pictures and tell stories of our adventures. What I didn't know was how much fun it would be to just simply WRITE a lot. It's like talking. And I love to talk! Ask my sixth grade teacher who gave me my very first "Cs" in conduct because I "visited too much with my neighbors."
Whatever. I'm a multitasker! I can do many things at once! I could talk AND listen to my teacher then... I can somehow figure out how to blog and get my work done now! I remember justifying to my Mom my "Cs." I got "As" in everything else important! You know, math, reading, writing.... just some silly "Cs" in conduct. How can you argue with that 12 year old logic?
So... back to my discussion above... why do other people start blogs? Why do you, reader of my blog now, have a blog? What inspired you to start? What inspires you to continue? I know my friend Kristen had one when she was living overseas for a year. It was her way of letting us all know what she was doing while she was so far away.... but she doesn't keep it up anymore. My friend Chelsea has a blog, but her last post was April!
Do you think those of us with kids are more likely to want to blog and share our lives with those that are at a distance? Like my orginal inspiration? Why do we keep going? Do we really feel like we have such great things to say?
HA!
When I was a child, I loved to perform on the fireplace hearth at my Grandparents house. "LOOK AT ME!" I would yell....
This is quite possibly just an adult manifestation of that childhood wish.... look at me! Listen to me!
But, I do have things to say and to share... and I guess we'll just leave it at that......

Oh jeez, another blog for me to follow. Jane got me so addicted to blogging and reading blogs!!
Nice to meet you at Grace's b-day party!
Hey Nicole,
All you should have to do is when you get a comment, just hit reply and *hopefully* that person has their email in their google profile. As I'm typing this, I see that you don't sooooo it would send the email to a 'dummy' email such as : Nicole McIntosh noreply-comment@blogger.com
This can be frustrating when people leave comments on your blog and you have no way of replying back to them. You can add your email to your profile by Editing Your Profile. When are looking at your blog, you see that picture of you, thats where your profile comes in. click on the link, and then you can edit it, so your email is attached. So when you leave comments on people's blog, they can respond back to you. Much easier than tracking you down! LOL! Anyways, thats the protocol you were were looking for! :)
I love the group of Ladies that we have in this blog ring. Its like we have a crew from Michigan and a crew from Minnesota, and few from Missouri, and few here and there. And we all comment on each others blog. At first for me it was a way to record things that we did for myself and family that didnt live close. But now I find myself adding things in and linking to our 'blog-ring' and its crazy how well we all have gotten to know each other thru our blog! youre gonna love it!!
Well i better get back to work..TTYL!!
Okay Nina...
You were "social" long before 6th grade...I think it was the second grade nun that said you were a very talkative little girl...Anyway...I love to hear you chatter on and on...I will not start a blog myself, so we will just have to talk on the phone when you want to catch up with me. Take care sweetie...and I'm glad you were not abducted last night. (smile)
